The game won’t necessarily be a straight up remake either. Dead Space 2 & 3 art director Mike Yazijan was confirmed to be working on the remake soon after its reveal. That’s not to say there aren’t some veterans on board, however. With the closure of original developer Visceral back in 2017, the team behind the remake is EA Motive. The remake was originally revealed last summer. The game will release exclusively on the newer generation of consoles, so that’s Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The remake will only be releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC after all. According to Eurogamer, this was a mistake. Recently, rumours surfaced online following a listing on the Dead Space remake’s regional trailer that suggested EA Games and Motive’s survival horror game will also be coming to PS4.
